Anabolic-androgenic steroids are steroidal androgens. Most catalogue SARMs — RAD-140, LGD-4033, ostarine, S4, S-23 — are non-steroidal research ligands. The chemical difference is the point of the class. It is not a safety rating and it is not permission to use either family in people.
